The Opportunity
This role facilitates Industry engagement, supporting the Centre of Excellence in the identification of requirements and solutions to improve National Security and Defence industry training, and education programs throughout Australia. Under the direction of the Manager, Strategic Engagement and with the support of the Centre of Excellence team, the Industry Liaison Officer will liaise with internal and external stakeholders and facilitate the development and operation of stakeholder engagement for National Security aligned with strategic engagement strategies of the Centre.
What We’re Looking For

Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills with a strong ability to build and maintain professional relationships with staff, industry partners, educational institutions, government agencies, and community organisations.

Demonstrated skills and knowledge in the conduct of research and analysis to provide recommendations on engagement approaches to senior managers.

Strong ability to develop tailored engagement, consultation and communication strategies to support the delivery of projects. This may include the management and support of events.
What You Need to Know
A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) issued by the South Australian Department of Human Services is required before employment.
